The Lewis County Sheriff’s Office Association is kicking off the “Buy a Brick” Campaign in support of the Lewis County Law Enforcement Memorial.  The engraved bricks will comprise the surrounding walkway of “The Guardian” memorial statue, designed by local artist Jim Stafford, to be located outside the Law & Justice Center in Chehalis.  Each person, family or business who sponsors a 4” x 8” brick will receive a certificate identifying the person/business whose name is to appear on the brick, suitable for framing or gift-giving.  To sponsor a brick, simply complete the attached form and either deliver the form and your check to the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office reception window or mail to: Lewis County Sheriff’s Office Association, Law Enforcement Memorial, 345 W. Centralia Christian School Offering Kindergarten Plus 2012-2013.  Kindergarten Plus is morning kindergarten PLUS extended care from 11:15-3:00.  It includes·   Excellent, hands-on half-day kindergarten program 8:25—11:15 a.m.  Lunch (provided by parent)  Rest time, indoor/outdoor play time, story time, some organized individual and group age-appropriate activities, and snack in a safe environment.  Cost: $2750 for kindergarten, $1485 for Plus. ($423.50 for 10-month payment plan; $353 for 12 month payment plan.)  Students needing care beyond 3:00 p.m. may remain in school’s After Care program at the regular cost of $3 per hour until 5:15 p.m. Enrollment for K+ is limited to 14 students. Thru August 12 - The Fox Theatre and Evergreen Playhouse announce their fourth annual Youth Musical Theater Program July 30 - August 12, 2012.  The two week day camp includes instruction in acting, singing, dancing and technical theater arts.  Director and Lead Instructor is Scott White.  Camp is Monday through Friday from 10-3, July 30 - August 10 at Evergreen Playhouse.  Students will perform three performances of "Annie Get Your Gun" on August 11 and 12 at the Playhouse as well.  Auditions for principal parts in the musical will be Saturday July 28 from 10 - 1 at The Fox Theatre.  Cost for the program is $125 and space is extremely limited. Aug. 12 - "Music in the Park" at Washington Park in Centralia August 12th at 5:00. It is a free concert for everyone by Contemporary Christian recording Artist "Cheri Keaggy".  She will be flying in from Nashville Tennessee for the concert.  She is a Dove awarded Nominee artist.

Aug. 18 - Vintage Fashion Show to raise money for Litttle Hands Learning Center in Toledo.  We are raising money for them to expand their after-school and toddler programs.
The event is being held on Saturday, August 18th at 7pm.  It will be at 225 South Military Rd in Winlock.  There will be a vintage fashion runway show, live music, food, and prize drawings.  All the proceeds will go to purchase equipment and supplies for Little Hands.   Tickets can be purchased at Little Hands (302 Coal St in Toledo) at winlockfashion.com or by calling or texting 206-245-5986.

Sept 15 and 16 - Here's your chance to build your dream dog house or cat tree and make a difference in the lives of animals.* All houses and trees will be displayed at the Olympia Master Builders Home & Garden Show, St. Martin’s University, Marcus Pavilion, to support Concern for Animals. The public will vote (with their dollars) for their favorite dog and cat house during the two-day event. Prizes and public recognition awarded to the winners!
Before the Home & Garden Show, all houses on display at the old Schoenfelds building in downtown Olympia from August 15 - September 14 and at the Westfield Capital Mall from November 1- November 9.
Houses will be donated to Concern for Animals to be auctioned at Toast for Tails on November 10 at the Lacey Community Center. For more information about the competition or to
